ATLANTA (May 7, 2007) — Aquanada announces today the in-kind donation of $4,000 to G-CAPP (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention) for the patron gift bags presented to attendees of the Southeast premiere of Georgia Rule, held tonight, May 7, 2007, at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The in-kind donation was made by Kirsten Ott, owner and designer for Aquanada. Tonight the 160 gift certificates (valued at $25 each) will be presented to the patrons at the Annual VIP benefit for G-CAPP. G-CAPP delivers innovative programs and services to Georgia's youth most vulnerable to becoming parents too soon. G-CAPP's work has contributed to a 30 percent decline in teenage pregnancy over the past decade, saving Georgia taxpayers $227 million dollars.
Georgia Rule, a Universal Pictures film by writer Mark Andrus and director, Garry Marshall, stars Jane Fonda, Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman and teen actress, Lindsay Lohan. Georgia Rule follows a rebellious, uncontrollable teenager (Lohan) who is hauled off by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend the summer with her grandmother (Fonda).
